Monitored Sources
The Research Agent scans these sources daily at 06:00 UTC for new content relevant to the library. When it finds something, it creates a link suggestion issue for the team to review.
How Sources Work
The agent monitors three types of sources:
| Type | How it works |
|---|---|
| RSS feeds | Parses RSS/Atom feeds for new entries since the last check. |
| GitHub Releases | Polls the GitHub Releases API for new versions of key repos. |
| What's New pages | Scrapes Microsoft Learn and other pages with dated entries to extract new items. |
Each source has keyword filters (e.g. agent, agentic, copilot) to pre-filter entries before the agent applies AI relevance scoring. Only content that passes both filters gets surfaced as a suggestion.
